- 描述：在孟宗竹林內的34種地被植物（分屬21科）中，有28種可形成囊叢枝內生菌根，其中被認爲不易形成囊叢枝內生菌根的蓼科(Polygonaceel)和蕁麻科(Urticaceel)，各有水蓼(Polygonum hydropiper)，戟葉蓼(Polygonum thunbergii)及糯米團(Gonostegia hirta)被囊全枝內生菌根菌感染。 在根圈土壤中，有14種囊叢枝內生菌根菌被分離鑑定且其中7種，爲台灣新紀錄種，包括兩種新種。 孟宗竹根部可被具有隔板及垂直分枝的真菌感染，但不形成囊叢枝內生菌根。
